CL2 rating is for cables designed for in-wall installation. It regards the plastic insulation(doesn't burn easily etc) around the copper and not the copper itself.

HDTV Supply sells many different cables that are CL2 rated

What does refurbished mean? What is a refurbished product?

A refurbished product is a slightly used, returned or have slight blemishes. These units have been tested in our facility twice to make sure they are fully functional and in prefect working order. These products are still backed by our warranty and lifetime tech support.

We try to update our refurbished link http://www.hdtvsupply.com/bstock.html daily but occasionally it does happen the item is no longer available.

Please feel free to call our friendly staff if you have questions on any refurbished units.

HDTV Supply is one of the fist companies to announce and be able to ship immediately the 4Kx2K Ultra-High Definition Products. The HDMI 1.4 specification adds support for extremely high video resolutions that go far beyond today’s 1080p systems. 4Kx2K, 4K for short, is 4,096 lines wide by 2,160 lines high or roughly four times the resolution of a 1080p display and is double the number of lines of a typical HD picture, and more than double the number of pixels across the screen – so over four times the resolution. Our 4K x 2K products have been designed to support 4K and they have four times the signal bandwidth and memory will be needed for 3D that doesn’t require glasses, available shortly.

Why not buy products that will work today so you will be 4K ready when you upgrade?

This is one of the most common questions we get.

Can I just use my COAX cable to convert it to HDMI ? The simple answer answer is NO.

These types of cables if found do not work, they are a waste of money and time.

The link below contains more information as to why this will not work.

What is a scaler & why would I need one?

Great question that we get a lot.

A scaler allows you to upscale standard definition or high definition sources to resolutions up to 1080p. Set-top boxes, DVD players to gaming consoles can be plugged into these HDMI scalers.

In plain terms a scaler will automatically change the resolutions so that you do not have too, allowing your electronics to talk to each other with minimal effort on your part.

We have products to scale HDMI, VGA, Composite, S video and others.
